Kosovo - Women Journalists’ Safety 2024, authored by Getoarbë Mulliqi and Artiola Babuni, is a comprehensive report focused on the safety, rights, and working conditions of women journalists in Kosovo. Based on research from interviews, focus groups, and national data, it highlights how these threats impact press freedom, media pluralism, and the professional well-being of women journalists.

Developed within the SafeJournalists Network, the report reviews Kosovo’s legal framework, compares international standards for media freedom and gender equality, and identifies barriers to effective protection. It also offers actionable recommendations for public institutions, media organizations, journalist associations, and civil society, aiming to improve journalist safety, strengthen gender equality, and support a safer and more inclusive media environment in Kosovo.
