The training on the psychology of survivors of gender-based violence was held
The training was conducted by Donika Shahini Lami, a clinical psychologist, who shared experiences and knowledge on the psychological approach to victims of violence.
She emphasized the importance of empathy and understanding in treating them, offering concrete practices and supportive techniques to facilitate the healing process. The participants had the opportunity to discuss the challenges and best practices in reporting and supporting victims.
They shared field experiences, exchanging knowledge and professional skills.
Erblina Dinarama, Director of the Safe House in Gjakova, presented in detail the work of the center. She spoke about the cases they handle, reporting methods, and the efforts they make to protect victims and prevent the retraumatization of individuals.
Through practical examples, Dinarama shared the approaches they use to create a safe and supportive environment for women and girls.
