Meeting with the Ambassador of the Greek Liaison Office in Kosovo
The Chairman of the Board of AJK, Xhemajl Rexha, Executive Director, Getoarbë Mulliqi, and Project Coordinator, Artiola Babuni, met today with Mrs. Heleni Vakali, Ambassador and Head of the Greek Liaison Office in Kosovo.
During the meeting, they discussed the state of freedom of expression, the position of journalists in Kosovo, and the success of the Regional Conference on Women in Media, held on March 8th in Pristina.
A special topic of discussion was also the Network of Women Journalists of Kosovo, a new initiative aimed at empowering and supporting female journalists in the country.
The meeting also covered the possibilities of establishing relationships with sister organizations in Greece to share experiences and advance professional standards, as well as the safety of journalists in both countries.
AJK thanks Mrs. Vakali for her interest and willingness to collaborate in the field of media freedom and the empowerment of journalists' roles.
