The Association of Journalists of Kosovo condemns the defamatory online attacks against journalists of "Betimi për Drejtësi"
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo (AGK) condemns the series of online attacks against journalists from the media "Betimi për Drejtësi," Betim Musliu and Diellza Luzha.
Both have now filed criminal charges against three online pages on social media due to continuous attacks and harassment. According to the team at "Betimi për Drejtësi," the defamatory and slanderous attacks followed the publication of the investigation "Doctors' Escape from Work Hours in Public Hospitals." The AGK considers such attacks on journalists unacceptable and believes they negatively impact their professional work.
Additionally, the AGK urges security authorities to do their job in identifying the perpetrators, and calls on the judicial authorities to prioritize the criminal complaint filed by the journalists.
