AJK condemns the attack on the portal Veriu.info
The Kosovo Journalists Association (AJK) condemns the act of vandalism at the Veriu.info portal's editorial office, where unknown individuals broke the windows of the building. This attack, which occurred on the last day of the election campaign, is another attempt to intimidate and obstruct the work of journalists in Kosovo.
AGK has contacted the director of this media, Gazmend Morina, to express its support and urges the Kosovo Police to urgently address this case, identify the perpetrators, and bring them to justice.
Attacks and acts of vandalism against the media represent a direct threat to press freedom and the public's right to be informed. AGK reiterates its continuous call for a safe and free environment for journalists in Kosovo and urges the competent institutions to ensure their protection.
