Attack against Kanal10 team, Zveçan, 30.05.2023
The team from Kanal 10 television had their vehicle damaged during reporting in the northern part of the country.
These attacks against journalists and other media workers are intensifying as they continue to report under very difficult conditions.
For the Association of Journalists of Kosovo - AJK, the situation of journalists, who are constantly targeted by Serbian protesters, is unacceptable. This becomes even more severe when they are not provided with direct protection from KFOR and other international presence in that part of the country.
AJK calls on media owners, chief editors, and governing institutions to prioritize the well-being of journalists, camera operators, photojournalists, and drivers. Meanwhile, we urge fellow journalists to follow the instructions of the Kosovo Police.
