AJK Chairman Rexha Meets New OSCE Ambassador in Kosovo, Gerard McGurk
Chairman of the Board of the Association of Journalists of Kosovo, Xhemajl Rexha, welcomed today the newly appointed Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Gerard McGurk.
The discussion focused on the long-standing support the OSCE Mission has provided to AJK, especially in promoting freedom of expression and strengthening the role of the media in a democratic society. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation, with a particular emphasis on improving working conditions and safety for journalists, cameramen, and photojournalists operating in the field.
Chairman Rexha expressed AJK’s sincere appreciation for the OSCE Mission’s continuous support and welcomed the opportunity to work closely with Ambassador McGurk in advancing media freedom and the rights of media professionals in Kosovo.
