The series of trainings with the elderly begins within the project "Empowering the elderly for information integrity"
Today, the series of trainings with the elderly has started within the project "Empowerment of the elderly for information integrity".
The series started at the Home for the Elderly in Pristina, where we had the pleasure of talking with a wonderful group of elderly people. During the visit, there were many fruitful discussions on topics that directly affect their daily lives.
Shaqir Foniqi, veteran journalist, and Xhemajl Rexha and Getoarbë Mulliqi shared their experience and knowledge with the elderly, addressing concerns about fake news and misinformation. They talked about the challenges of orientation in a time where information is abundant, but not always reliable.
This meeting was an important step in helping the elderly to better understand the sources of information.
With a lot of positive energy and interest from the elderly, this project aims to strengthen media education and give voice to the generation that preserves our collective memory.
This project is financed by the European Union through the partner organization in Kosovo, Press Council of Kosovo.
