Threatening language towards Klan Kosova's team, Prishtinë,14.12.2022
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo today has been notified by the authors and journalists of the "Kiks Kosova" show on Klan Kosova, for the denigrating and threatening language that the Acting Finance Director of Telecom of Kosovo used against the team of this media.
In a series of emails, Kelmendi referred to Klan Kosova as "Devolli's criminal TV clan", and its journalists as "servants of the criminal clan". AJK considers that such language is unacceptable and very dangerous.
Telecom of Kosovo, as a public enterprise, is obligated to answer to journalists and to the media for finances, contracts, and other questions of public interest.
AJK calls on the Board and the Director of this institution to distance themself from the threatening and offensive language of M.Kelmendi and to make sure that he and other officials do their work by providing the necessary information to the media.
