Attacks on media outlets and organizations, Klan Kosova, Prishtinë, 04.08.2026
Klan Kosova journalist Sala Gashi has reported being obstructed in the course of her work by Feim Tahirsylaj, an adviser to the Minister of Agriculture, Armend Muja. According to Gashi, Tahirsylaj addressed her with inappropriate questions and in a threatening tone.
“Is Klan paying you to ask questions? Who is paying you? Get out of here, just leave,” Tahirsylaj reportedly told journalist Gashi.
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo (AJK) strongly condemns the state official’s language and unprofessional conduct.
AJK calls on Minister Muja to distance himself from the incident and urges all public officials not to obstruct journalists in the exercise of their professional duties. Given the public positions they hold, officials should be prepared to respond to journalists’ questions.
